A pedidos, estou postando essa genial coletânea de Dub: Dub Anthology. São 4 cds, com 15 músicas cada. A divisão foi feita da seguinte forma: Dub Roots, International Dub, French Dub e New School.

Foi lançado por uma gravadora francesa em 2007, e é composto definitivamente por todas as vertentes de Dub, tendo inclusive alguns nomes contestáveis. Por outro lado, a coletânea inclui grandes nomes do Dub mundial, assim como King Tubby, Augustus Pablo e Lee Perry.

Pra quem quer se aprofundar no mundo dos Deejays jamaicanos (que ensinaram muita gente por aí como se faz uma discotecagem), essa compilação é uma perfeita opção. Data o perído de anos 60 e 70, e contém os precussores e estrelas do "DJ style" jamaicano. U-Roy é considerado por muitas vezes o primeiro DJ, mas na real é por ser o mais conhecido. Na realidade, tiveram alguns antes dele: Count Machuki, Lord Stitt, Sir Lord Comic, e mais. Os últimos dois contém aqui na coletânea. Como seguidores de U-Roy podemos citar Dennis Alcapone, I-Roy e Big Youth. King Stitt dispensa comentários. Destaque também para os mestres Dave Barker e Dillinger. Todas as faixas aqui são altamente indicadas, só pedradas. Confiram!

Atendendo ao pedido, estamos postando a coletânea da Essa compilação da Studio One em parceria com a Soul Jazz records tem como foco o Funk e Soul music, como influências da música jamaicana. É formada de várias músicas inéditas, que estavam no "arquivo" das gravadoras.
Esse álbum mostra muito bem como o funk americano influenciou na música reggae, e principalmente o peso da música Soul na era Rocksteady. Em algumas músicas encontramos também a relação entre o Blues e o Ska Jamaicano.

Muito bom, vale realmente a pena baixar!
